Senior Commercial Director — Digital Transformation / Public Sector
Location: Remote / UK (with periodic travel)
Package: Competitive base (up to £150,000) + uncapped commission / bonus + equity upside

Opportunity
A fast-growing, PE-backed digital consultancy is seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to lead and scale its sales organisation across the UK. With ~600 staff, £90m turnover, and aggressive growth ambitions, this organisation already holds significant public sector contracts, strong NPS scores, and presence in government transformation, digital identity, data, and user-centred services.
The Role & Your Impact
You will lead ~7 senior salespeople across the UK, set and execute commercial strategy,
personally own multi-million-pound deals, refine sales processes, and ensure the team is
skilled in selling into Central Government and Public Services.
Your Background & Fit
- Strong experience in digital transformation / IT services.
- Track record in sales leadership, coaching, and team scaling.
- Knowledge of Central Government (& procurement frameworks etc).
- Experience managing large, complex public sector deals.
- Strong change management and communication skills.
