Freelance Business Development Manager (Commission-Only)

Location: Remote (UK-Focused)

Sector: Digital Marketing, SEO, and Emerging Tech (AI/Voice)

The Opportunity

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the digital landscape? Annie Veale Freelance is looking for a high-caliber Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within the UK mid-market sector.

We provide premium digital solutions—ranging from technical SEO and AI-readiness audits to cutting-edge Alexa Voice Search Skills.

This is initially a 100% commission-based role offering uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to sell high-ticket, high-value retainers and projects.

The first month will provide opportunities to develop and progress and for the right candidate the opportunity to earn a basic plus commission after this period.

What You'll Be Selling

You will represent a boutique agency known for technical excellence and forward-thinking strategy. Our core offerings include:

SEO Excellence: Technical audits and ongoing high-impact retainers.

AI-Ready Updates: Preparing mid-market websites for the age of LLMs and generative search.

Voice Search Integration: Bespoke Alexa Skills and Voice Search Optimization (VSO).

Digital Audits: Comprehensive performance, UX, and accessibility reviews.

The Ideal Candidate

Mid-Market Experience: You understand the longer sales cycles and stakeholder management required when dealing with UK mid-market firms.

Digital Fluency: You don't need to be a coder, but you must be able to confidently discuss SEO, AI integration, and digital strategy.

Self-Starter: You have your own lead generation methods and the discipline to manage your own pipeline.

Networked: Ideally, you already have a network of Marketing Directors, CTOs, or Heads of Digital.
