A leading Travel Management Company is seeking an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join a dedicated team as part of an expanding specialist division. This team delivers high-touch, end-to-end travel management services for both individual travellers and group clients.
This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote or in a hybrid arrangement, with a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 - £43,000, depending on experience.
If you possess strong fare and ticketing expertise, including Published, Nett, and NDC fares within Sabre, and are comfortable operating in highly regulated environments, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end corporate travel arrangements while ensuring compliance with strict industry regulations and client requirements.
* Adhere to established processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Create, modify, and manage individual and group travel reservations using Sabre.
* Ensure all bookings, documentation, and expenses meet transparency, approval, and audit trail requirements.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of global and regional compliance regulations affecting client travel.
* Proactively identify potential compliance risks and take corrective action prior to confirming travel arrangements.
* Negotiate competitive fares and rates with airlines, hotels, and ground transportation suppliers.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a strong client-focused approach at all times.
* Build and maintain a deep understanding of client accounts, ensuring travel solutions meet their operational and regulatory needs.
Required Experience
* Current experience within Business Travel / Corporate Travel.
* Experience managing dedicated accounts within sectors such as pharmaceutical, government, energy, or marine.
* Strong fare construction and ticketing knowledge, including Published and Nett fares.
* Proficiency in Sabre is essential.
* Experience booking group travel would be advantageous.
* Excellent worldwide airfares knowledge and strong negotiation skills for managing airfare contracts.
* A proactive, flexible, and fast-paced working approach.
Package
* Competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £43,000 (dependent on experience)
* Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
* Fully remote or hybrid working options available
