About this Opportunity
An exciting opportunity awaits a Data Analyst to join the Transport division of Lloyds Banking Group on a 12-month secondment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their analytical and presentation skills while contributing to future Transport Strategy. A strong candidate will have an inquisitive approach, a keen eye for identifying trends and ability to clearly communicate analytical insights to a senior audience.
As a Data Analyst, you\'ll play a key role in delivering actionable insights that shape commercial strategies and improve customer outcomes. You\'ll:
 * Work with internal and external datasets, to uncover trends, assess performance, and support transformation initiatives.
 * Be part of a high-performing team that supports both Personal and Corporate customers, helping them meet their mobility needs through our Lex Autolease, Black Horse and Direct-to-Consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities
 * Perform in-depth analysis to produce valuable, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
 * Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide a comprehensive view of business performance
 * Support ad-hoc projects and business requests with timely, accurate, and insightful analysis
 * Use data to find opportunities and recommend actions that drive commercial success
 * Consider customer fair value in all analysis and recommendations
 * Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Transport Industry
 * Commit to personal development and knowledge sharing

What you\'ll need
 * Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or similar coding languages for data manipulation and analysis
 * Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to communicate insights and recommendations
 * Strong critical thinking and ability to see the bigger picture
 * Effective collaboration and communication skills
 * Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise effectively
And any experience of these would be really useful
 * Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
