We are recruiting two Data Analysts to join our Quality and Improvement Team to support the organisation’s developing business intelligence function.
Working with the Quality and Improvement Manager, and other stakeholders you will play a key role in data capture and analysis, supporting the organisation evidence performance and helping to shape services for the short and longer term future.
About the role
The role is full time (37 hours per week), working hybrid between our office in Pennywell Road, Bristol, and home, with potential travel to other sites in the South West.
Second Step has grown significantly over recent years, and works in a number of partnerships with council and NHS bodies. We are committed to using data to inform service development and evidence performance and the role will be key in supporting our journey to data maturity.
About you
You will be passionate about mental health and have a strong background in data analysis. Your work will focus on capturing and analysing data to improve outcomes for people being supported by our services. Working with data from a variety of sources you will support the Senior Leadership Team and operations colleagues with analysis and presentation of information to internal and external audiences, including preparing data for the Board of Trustees.
Reporting to, and working with the Quality and Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new systems for capturing and reporting information. You will develop and maintain a range of organisational and service dashboards; including using InForm, Excel and PowerBI. You’ll be called upon to work closely with colleagues across the organisation to improve the capture, storage and use of data across the organisation. A strong attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and autonomy will be required together with an ability to work under pressure in a variety of situations.
