IT Field Engineer – Truro, Cornwall
Salary: Up to c£32,000 per year + Company Car

Responsibilities
* Travel to client sites across Cornwall to provide IT support and troubleshooting.
* Install and configure IT hardware and software (servers, PCs, printers, networking devices).
* Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Windows environments.
* Carry out basic networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VLANs).
* Keep accurate records of all work and customer interactions.
* Collaborate with the Plymouth-based Support Desk team on escalated issues.
* Deliver friendly, professional customer service, offering guidance and reassurance when needed.
* Undertake training and to assist in training other or new members of staff as required.
* Undertake other duties as may be required within the general scope of the job.
* Work in accordance with all company procedures and guidelines.
Requirements / Qualifications
* A full UK Driving licence is essential.
* Experience in field IT support or related role is preferred
* Self-driven, solution-focused with strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
* Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to IT support duties with varying environments and technologies.
The Opportunity
My client, operating in the technology sector, is recruiting for an IT Field Engineer who reports to the Field Service Manager. The role involves visiting different client sites, providing on-site IT support, installations and maintenance, and adapting to diverse environments and challenges.
