- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications
- Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to food safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CDP or similar role in a restaurant environment
- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques and culinary skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
