Interests and responsibilities
* Ensuring the consistent delivery of high‑quality care and ensuring residents receive care based on best practice.
* Being responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
* Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing.
* Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
* Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
* Ensuring costs are well managed and kept within budgetary controls by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.

Ideal candidate profile
* Minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
* Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities and basic IT competence.
* Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
