FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment in seeking a Quality Engineer working for a large manufacturing business based in Burton on Trent. This is a permanent position with salary up to circa £40,000+. You will be involved in audit processes, supporting supply chain/procurement and building on supplier relationships. There will be some travelling involved within the UK, Europe/International, depending on client locations.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake Supplier audits, liaising with international and local teams
* Develop audit plans and ensuring follow-ups are completed
* A lead on Continuous improvement & monitoring supplier KPI’s etc
* Enhance and create global procedures for supplier qualification and quality management
* Providing technical support internal and external across the business
Skills and Experience required for the Quality Engineer role:-
* Degree in engineering or similar technical field
* Experience in supplier quality within a manufacturing/engineering work environment
* Good IT skills & MS Office
* Quality Auditor Certification (internal or external)
