Teaching Assistant Location: St Helens Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Pay: £95-£105 per day Start Date: February We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded SEN school in St Helens. This role involves working on a one-to-one basis with secondary-aged students (predominantly aged 14) who have complex additional needs, including PMLD, SLD, severe autism, and a small number of students with SEMH needs. The school benefits from excellent outdoor facilities, and pupils regularly take part in a wide range of outdoor activities such as walking, sports, and horticulture. Due to the nature of the setting, candidates must be confident supporting emotional dysregulation, managing challenging behaviour, and assisting with personal care where required.
