Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Exmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive KS2 team, making a real difference to pupils as they prepare for their transition to Year 6.
Your Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils in Year 5
* Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom activities
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring every child feels valued and engaged
About You:
* Experience working in a primary school
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or relevant experience is desirable
* A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
