The Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager and senior leadership team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring seamless operations and consistently exceptional service. You will be a visible leader on the floor, inspiring the team, maintaining standards, and playing a key role in shaping the guest journey. This is a hands-on role for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager and AGM in the smooth and efficient running of daily operations
Lead from the floor during service, acting as a role model for service standards and guest interaction
Deliver engaging pre-service briefings and support ongoing training and development of the team
Monitor guest satisfaction, handle feedback confidently, and resolve issues with professionalism
Ensure exceptional standards of grooming, presentation, and service are upheld at all times
Oversee floor operations, mise en place, cleanliness, and maintenance checks
Assist with rotas, attendance management, and performance reviews
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting
Step in as Manager on Duty when required, ensuring consistency and leadership presence
What Were Looking For
Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or strong Supervisor in a premium, high-volume restaurant
A confident, hands-on leader with excellent people management skills
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering standout guest experiences
Commercial awareness, including stock control and basic financial understanding
The ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, high-energy environment
