Overview
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, supporting the growth of a transformative collegiate environment through effective division operations. The role involves complex, confidential administrative, financial, and communication functions, serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders and assisting in collaboration with key university areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for the VCAF's Office, greeting visitors, managing inquiries, and handling correspondence.
* Compose, analyze, and distribute memos, reports, and confidential communications.
* Maintain confidentiality and manage the executive calendar, including scheduling and preparing meeting materials.
* Manage records, office operations, including budget monitoring, travel arrangements, and procurement processes.
* Coordinate university and divisional events and supervise support staff and student employees.
* Complete projects, establish priorities, and ensure smooth completion of assignments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of relevant administrative or public relations experience, preferably in an educational setting. Experience in executive support, advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite), and flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends are required. An alternative is 7+ years of administrative experience in lieu of a degree.
