The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. The role is crucial in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.
Overview of the Role
* HSEQ Officer
* Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service (max 5 days). Holiday buy-back scheme for an additional 5 days.

Responsibilities
* Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
* Create, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System.
* Coach and advise employees and management on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
* Plan and perform audits, and implement best practices.
* Provide training on HSEQ topics.
* Ensure processes deliver their intended outputs and report on performance and improvements.
* Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.
* Develop health and safety strategies and policies.
* Lead training sessions on QHSE matters.
* Maintain records, produce reports, and manage incident documentation.
* Stay updated on legislation and industry developments.
* Manage hazardous substances and emergency procedures.
* Advocate for safety and environmental best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
* Proficiency with MS Office.
* Knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE.
* Auditor training/experience.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
* Legal right to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
