Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our London team.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of complex commercial projects that include structural cut and carve elements alongside high-specification fit out works.
You will lead the project team from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the exceptional standards expected on prime London developments.
This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex refurbishment environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of commercial fit out and cut & carve refurbishment projects in Central London
* Take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover
* Manage project teams including site management, design, and commercial teams
* Develop and drive detailed construction programmes
* Coordinate structural modifications alongside high-end fit out works
* Manage relationships with clients, consultants, landlords, and stakeholders
* Oversee subcontractor procurement, performance, and coordination
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
* Monitor project budgets and financial performance with the commercial team
* Identify project risks and drive proactive solutions to maintain programme and quality
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within a main contractor or fit out contractor
* Strong experience delivering commercial fit out projects with cut and carve refurbishment elements
* Experience managing projects typically valued £10m – £50m+
* Strong understanding of structural alterations within live or existing buildings
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Good commercial and contractual awareness
* Experience delivering projects in Central London highly desirable
* Relevant construction qualification preferred
