Reporting to the Head of Audio Sales. The Account Manager will be responsible of sales planning and execution of events in order to reach the sales, profitability and growth objectives for the touring and special events of the Live Productions division. Due to the day to day commercial importance of this role, the role will be office based in Solotech Birmingham.

Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Business Development team and various departments to achieve sales objectives.
* Identify strategic business opportunities and support existing assigned clients.
* Represent Solotech’s presence and position as a leader in the Touring and Live Events industry.
* Analyse market conditions to determine potential sales opportunities for the touring and special events segment throughout the United Kingdom
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts for sales of special events and touring solutions.
* Develop relationships with existing clients, providing the highest level of customer service.
* Identify new potential customers and develop a plan to capture new market share.
* Collaborate with the administration team to prepare quotes and manage workflows.
* Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.
Essential skills / experience:
* Proficiency with Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook);
* Knowledge of the live events industry within the showbusiness, events and corporate fields a plus.
* Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures.
* Highly organised and ability to multitask.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal and client relationships.
* Ability to anticipate issues and find efficient solutions while respecting the company’s policies, organisational structures, and operational processes.
* Excellent communication skills.
Level of education:
* Educated to degree level in administration, marketing, engineering or project management fields or any equivalent work experience.
Work Experience:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Essential Requirements:
* Right to Work and Remain in the UK
* Flexibility to work unsociable hours which may include evenings and weekends, as required, in addition to your normal hours of work from time to time.
* Full, clean UK driving license.
* Flexible schedule to meet business needs as well as for traveling overnight.
