Reporting to the Director of People, the Head of Talent Development is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain a talented workforce. This includes UK office staff, internationally mobile staff, and hosted contracts where MSF UK hosts on behalf of another MSF entity. Identify MSF UK’s needs and create and implement a talent strategy to improve recruitment and organisational performance.
~ Design and lead MSF UK’s workforce planning activity, working closely with senior leaders.
~ Review and transform MSF UK’s appraisal process to support meaningful employee performance and development.
~ Drive a culture of continuous learning and development by developing a learning and development strategy, identify learning needs, designing and implementing training programs, and foster a learning mindset across MSF UK.
~ Develop, implement and embed an approach to equity, diversity and inclusion in all talent management initiatives that reflects MSF UK’s aims and objectives.
~ Oversee the pay and benefits strategy to ensure that MSF UK’s approach is fit for purpose for both UK office-based staff and internationally mobile staff.
~ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure alignment and engagement in talent management initiatives.
~ Develop and deliver people analytics to identify talent management trends and deliver solutions.
~ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent management programmes and initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
~ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in talent management and recommend innovative solutions to address business challenges.
