Compliance Contract Lead Electrical, Fire and Lift Services Building Maintenance Location: Gosport, PO12 1EB Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3 Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri (08:00 to 16:00) Pay Rate: £450.00 per day Job Ref: (phone number removed) Job Responsibilities Lead and manage compliance contracts covering electrical, fire safety and lift services. Ensure all statutory inspections, testing and remedial works are completed on time. Monitor contractor performance and service delivery against agreed standards. Review risk assessments, certification and compliance documentation. Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders on building compliance matters. Manage budgets, variations and contract documentation. Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and Council policies. Prepare performance reports and attend review meetings. Person Specification Must-Have Requirements Proven experience managing compliance contracts within building services or maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical, fire safety and lift regulations. Experience overseeing statutory compliance and contractor performance. Good understanding of health and safety legislation. Strong organisational and communication skills. Eligibility to work in the UK. Nice-to-Have Requirements Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment. Relevant technical qualification in building services or a related field. Knowledge of housing or corporate property compliance frameworks. Important Information: An in-person interview is required.
