The Role
As a Powertrain NVH Engineer, you will utilize industry-standard instrumentation and tools (such as Brüel and Kjær, LMS) to collect, analyze, and interpret data, as well as report and present findings. You will conduct Powertrain NVH and/or rig testing as needed and supervise testing facility setups to ensure compliance.
Your responsibilities:
* Collect, analyze, and interpret NVH data to develop solutions.
* Analyze test results using data acquisition systems like LMS Test.Lab, HEAD Artemis, or B&K Pulse.
* Resolve system-related issues and improve quality.
* Collaborate with product development, operations, and engineering teams.
* Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
* Use NVH testing results, subjective evaluations, and engineering judgment.
* Support program reviews and management milestones as required.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Strong understanding of NVH principles and methodologies.
* Experience with data acquisition systems (e.g., LMS Test.Lab, HEAD Artemis, B&K Pulse).
* Experience with data processing and analysis software.
* Knowledge of automotive (BEV and xHEV) mechanical and electrical systems.
* Experience with NVH testing and validation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
* Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
* Cross-functional team management and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of acoustic materials and NVH attributes.
