Admissions Lead Required for School in BerkshireAt Engage Education Services, we've specialised in recruiting education staff for over a decade. We're currently looking for an experienced and proactive Admissions Lead to work full-time at a welcoming and well-regarded school in Berkshire.Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we are seeking a high-quality professional to lead and manage the school's admissions processes, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and positive experience for prospective families.Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am till 4pmAbout the roleAs the Admissions Lead, your responsibilities may include:Leading and managing the school's admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolmentActing as the first point of contact for prospective parents and carers, providing a professional and welcoming serviceManaging applications, waiting lists, offers, and admissions data in line with local authority and school policiesUsing the school's internal systems (e.g. SIMS) to accurately record and maintain pupil dataLiaising with senior leaders, local authorities, and external agencies regarding admissions and pupil placementOverseeing and supporting administrative or reception staff involved in admissionsEnsuring compliance with admissions legislation, safeguarding requirements, and GDPRHandling admissions-related queries or complaints efficiently and ensuring appropriate follow-upSupporting transition arrangements for new starters, including induction and documentationThe ideal applicantSignificant experience working within a school office or admissions environmentStrong knowledge of school admissions procedures and local authority processesExperience using SIMS (School Information Management System) or similar systemsExcellent communication and organisational skillsA calm, professional, and approachable manner when dealing with families and stakeholdersA genuine passion for working within an educational settingWhy choose Engage Education?We pay all our staff in line with the Agency Worker Regulations, meaning your pay will be equal to that of a permanent employeeYou will benefit from your own dedicated Engage consultant who will provide ongoing support and guidanceReceive a £50 Amazon voucher when you refer friendsHow to applyIf you're as excited about this role as we are, please apply below or get in touch with us directly.If you're not contacted within 2 working days, unfortunately you have not been successful on this occasion.
