Overview
Telford & Wrekin Council’s Transport Team are responsible for the delivery of safe, reliable, sustainable, and innovative value for money transport services to the residents of Telford. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Passenger Assistant who will help make a difference to the lives of people in Telford and Wrekin through providing specialist transport to passengers, including children with special educational needs, adults with disabilities, social care clients and members of the general public accessing bespoke transport services.
Responsibilities
* Support clients and their families and work as part of a team with a driver to ensure the safety, comfort and dignity of all passengers at all times.
Requirements / Qualities
* Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and organisational skills.
* Excellent team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
Contract and Hours
This role is 12.5 hours per week, term time only. Further hours may be available. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
