Job Title: Senior Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Local School – Outwood, Wakefield
Hours: 6am-8am and 15.15-18.15. Working 25 hours per week
Pay: £13 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at a local school in Outwood, Wakefield.
This is a key leadership role requiring a confident and experienced individual who can manage the day-to-day running of a cleaning contract while leading and supporting a team of cleaners and an on-site supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards are maintained
* Leading, motivating, and supporting the cleaning team
* Supervising the on-site supervisor and providing guidance where needed
* Organising rotas and ensuring adequate cover
* Conducting regular quality checks and audits
* Monitoring sickness and managing absence reporting
* Ordering and monitoring cleaning stock and supplies
* Stepping in to assist with cleaning duties when required (e.g., sickness cover)
* Maintaining a positive, team-focused working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior supervisory role (cleaning sector preferred)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to manage standards and performance effectively
* Enhanced DBS required (we can assist in obtaining one if necessary)
