You’ll report to and work closely with the Deputy Director of Development.Purpose and scopeResponsibilitiesManaging your own individual portfolio of existing and prospective corporate partnersStewarding your portfolio through organising 1-1 meetings and cultivation eventsDeveloping high-quality funding proposals with the support of relevant project teamsIdentifying new opportunities to secure corporate support through research and networkingUndertaking due diligence on prospective corporate supporters and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation including the ABPI Code of PracticeSupporting the delivery of the corporate partnership programme of activitiesEnsuring corporate partners are thanked/recognised in an appropriate and timely mannerEnsuring that database records for corporate supporters and prospects are up-to-date, accurate and adhere to data protection law and best practiceAbout YouEducated to degree levelExceptional interpersonal and networking skillsConfidence in maintaining and establishing relationships at a senior levelA demonstrable ability to negotiate and influence othersAn articulate and persuasive written style and the capacity to draft compelling proposalsA genuine desire and interest to build partnerships between the charitable and corporate sectors and an enthusiasm to engage with corporate partnersAbout The RCPThe Royal College of Physicians is a rewarding and friendly place to work with an incredible history, dating back to our foundation in 1518.
