Responsibilities
You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro‑actively, managing your own tasks, and collaborating with senior management. You’ll help deliver accurate, transparent reporting to stakeholders and provide long‑term value.
* Identify risk matters and raise them with a manager or partner while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
* Understand the needs of the audited entity, suggest potential technical solutions, and communicate and agree on these with managers or partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established audited entities, identify opportunities, and be a point of contact throughout the year.
* Conduct rigorous project and financial management on all projects, complete projects within agreed timescales, and raise issues in a timely manner.
* Supervise and coach junior team members.
* Manage projects.
Qualifications
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent.
* Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
* Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, and regulations including anti‑money laundering compliance.
* Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
