Financial Crime EDD Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Manager to join our team. Uniquely positioned within our Payments and Merchant Acquiring business, you will investigate risks associated with a diverse client base ranging from sole traders to large global corporates. Moving beyond traditional retail banking, you will identify unusual activity, handle legal obligations, and make critical recommendations on whether to continue or exit client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
KYC & Due Diligence: Perform complex/high-risk KYC and customer due diligence.
Risk Assessments: Execute senior-level risk assessments and manage complex EDD workflows.
Methodology: Make risk assessments based on updated risk methodologies.
Analysis: Perform KYC and interpret its implications.
Relationship Management: Identify unusual activity and make recommendations on whether to continue or exit client relationships.
Required Skills
Advanced KYC/EDD skills.
Advanced risk assessment skills.
Experience handling legal obligations within financial crime.
