Gesban is a dedicated professional team providing and developing effective financial processes, accounting, and reporting with independent control for Santander. As our team expands, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Milton Keynes team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
You will manage a team of Finance Associates, ensuring timely maintenance of accounting ledgers to facilitate reporting requirements.

The difference you’ll make:
* Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting across the team
* Provide guidance and advice on accounting issues to stakeholders
* Perform reconciliations on trial balance accounts and resolve discrepancies
* Respond to queries from clients, internal/external auditors, and Group Reporting
* Maintain up-to-date process documentation for all key processes under your remit
* Streamline processes and promote best practices within the team
What you’ll bring:
Essential requirements:
* AAT qualification or equivalent experience in an accounting role
* Experience leading a small accounts payable team
* Track record of process improvement and continuous improvement mindset
* Strong Excel skills and experience with general ledger and finance systems
Desirable skills:
* Knowledge of Walker system and SAP
* Experience delivering high service standards and responding to client feedback
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Good understanding of accounting principles and processes
Additional information:
This role is based at Unity Place, Milton Keynes, with a hybrid working pattern. The expected office attendance is at least 2 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles). Please consider your travel distance and costs when applying.
