Our Fire & Security's Project Commissioning Engineer's
Technically engineer, install commission small and large projects across the Marlowe portfolio whilst controlling and planning the projects and commissioning works. Liaise with key clients to ensure programme deadlines are achieved whilst maintaining profitability, Health, Safety and quality to company requirements.
1. Commission fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
2. Conduct site surveys, installation inspections, and system performance testing to ensure compliance and functionality.
3. Provide technical support and expert guidance to field engineers and project team members.
4. Ensure all work is carried out in strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities and produce comprehensive technical reports.
6. Deliver system training and operational guidance to end-users and client staff.
7. Plan, schedule, and manage labour and materials to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
8. Offer technical expertise across various phases of the project lifecycle, as required.
9. Attend and contribute to site and project meetings to support successful delivery.
10. Provide line management and oversight of assigned engineers and subcontractors, including performance management and task allocation.
11. Manage the profitability of assigned projects, ensuring budget adherence and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
12. Take full responsibility for health and safety compliance across all project sites.
13. Support the team by performing installation, commissioning, and minor works when required.
14. Uphold and promote Marlowe's quality, safety, and environmental standards in all aspects of work.

For this specific opportunity, we are looking for candidates who offer:
15. Minimum of 3 years' experience in commissioning security systems across a range of environments.
16. In-depth technical knowledge of leading systems, including Galaxy, Gent, Notifier, and Kentec.
17. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is desirable.
18. Proven experience in delivering engineering projects across both single-site and multi-site locations.
19. Strong technical background with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships.
20. Solid understanding of major security and fire systems, with a proven track record of involvement in complex projects.
