Estates Assistant - Block Management Industry
Entry-level position, salary of £24,000 per annum.
Xenia Estates are a vibrant and energetic property management firm with a clear passion for their brands and commitment to providing a first-class property management offering. Consisting of multiple businesses, this well-established property group specialises in both residential and student block, estate and asset management, operating nationwide.
Main Duties:
* Working with the wider Estates team to ensure a high level of customer service.
* Assisting the Estates Manager to manage preventative maintenance and schedules.
* Day-to-day management of a residential and/or student portfolio, managing all repairs and planned maintenance, as well as appointing external contractors to manage repairs and upkeep.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers/contractors and appointing external contractors to manage repairs and upkeep.
Essential Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues.
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word as a minimum).
* Good time management and prioritising skills with the ability to co-ordinate a complex workload.
* Flexibility and able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own and as part of a team whenever required.
Experience & Qualifications:
* 12 months experience in a customer service role, either office, retail or hospitality based.
* Experience of completing administration work.
* GCSE in English Language and Maths, grade C/5 or above.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office.
Desired but not essential:
* Knowledge of ARMA guidelines and requirements
* Experience of working in property management and an awareness of section 20 consultations, fire safety and cladding.
* Knowledge of property management software
