Be responsible for the provision of high quality Dietetic service to a clinical caseload in a designated speciality, using a high level of skills and knowledge as an independent practitioner.

To contribute to the development and implementation of evidence based clinical and teaching practice, providing specialist advice and education in the designated speciality.

To work within the Dietetic team in assisting in the operational management of the department.

To assist the Dietetic management team to ensure the overall service provides high quality patient care, and in the management of clinical governance, resources and equipment.

You will be working for an organisation which values and respects all its staff and the community it serves. The Trust is a leader in the NHS and research sectors and provides excellent benefits for its staff, including commitments to professional development, and many policies to support employees in balancing their personal and professional lives.

We are a friendly, supportive and innovative department of around 60 Dietitians, plus Dietetic assistants across three hospital sites and the community. If this sounds like an exciting step for your career, then we would love to read your application.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of a maximum of twelve months due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder. The fixed-term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.
