We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Phlebotomist to complement the role of the nurse and other health professionals, and to be an integral part and key member of the care team.
You will make the best use of clinical skills within the practice to promote well-being and maximize health gain for patients, providing a safe, high-quality, and accessible treatment room service to our registered patients. We value teamwork, mutual support, and a friendly working environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, ensuring proper labelling and handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. They will work closely with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Please note: Hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and bank holidays to meet business needs. Housebound bloods will also be a requirement. (Part-time considered, minimum 24 hours)

Main duties of the job

* Properly label, store, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing and transportation.

* Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a sterile environment.
* Manage supplies and restock phlebotomy equipment as needed.
* Assist with clerical duties, such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records.
