The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a small class of five pupils, aged 11 to 13 years old, with special educational needs including autism and one with CVI (Cognitive Visual Impairment). Key Responsibilities: - Teach a small class of five pupils with special educational needs, ensuring tailored lessons that cater to each child's abilities. - Collaborate with a team of six teaching assistants, including a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), to support the planning and administration of lessons. - Provide one-to-one support for pupils and guide teaching assistants in differentiation and classroom support. - Build strong relationships with pupils and understand their individual educational and emotional needs. - Collaborate with the wider teaching and support team to deliver excellent education and support for the classroom.
