Commercial Executive - Job Description
The Commercial Executive role in The Magnum Ice Cream Company is a critical internal linchpin for our Sales, Finance and Supply Chain functions. Reporting into an Account Controller in our Sales team, the role provides the opportunity to work across the Value Channel customers and manage multiple cross‑functional relationships, with clearly defined ownership of internal processes that are fundamental to ensuring we deliver against the expectations of our consumers and customers. With the breadth of the role’s responsibilities, there is an opportunity to gain experience across multiple business areas and provide a clear stepping stone for future progression. The Value Channel Commercial Executive role also includes ownership of the remnants and residual process (internal & external) for all Value Channel Customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Owner of volume planning in collaboration with Supply Chain and Account Controller (S&OP Process)
* Lead and manage relationships with third‑party volume planning specialist teams and invoice processing teams.
* Owner of critical documents such as promotional plan, price files/line lists and provisions tracker of invoices and rebates.
* Leader of relationship with third party pricing, invoicing and rebate management specialist teams – accountable for clearing price mismatches and invoice queries (In Month Process).
* Owner of rebate accrual tracking and reviewing against EPOS to conduct monthly rebate review process.
* Owner of EPOS tracking and performance insight/analysis with market share oversight.
* Owner of Value Channel remnant and residual process (internal & external).
* Manage and coordinate necessary administrative tasks including new line form submissions and update internal trackers.
* Partner with Account Controllers to deliver the best service for our customers – owning direct relationships with trading/buying assistants and pricing/invoicing teams at retailers.
