Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist
Join as a Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. This full‑time Band 7 role is based in Margate, with additional work in Canterbury, and focuses on the community autism diagnostic pathway for children and families aged 0‑19.
Responsibilities
* Carry out high‑quality ADOS assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team for children and young people.
* Effectively communicate with neurodiverse children, families, and internal/external staff, consistently demonstrating neuro‑affirming practice.
* Produce detailed, timely reports and support the development of service policy and clinical care pathways across the trust.
* Provide professional lead and supervision to team members, ensuring regular access to effective supervision, training and support.
* Participate in ongoing reflective practice and learning within the field of Autism, supporting the team’s neuro‑affirming practice and CPD.
