Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and barbering, coupled with exceptional customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring an enjoyable experience for our clients. You will also play a key role in store management and mentoring junior staff members.
Duties
* Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
* Perform barbering services with precision and skill.
* Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application when required.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalised recommendations.
* Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
* Manage front desk operations, including booking appointments and handling client inquiries.
* Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development through guidance and support.
* Foster strong communication with team members to ensure smooth salon operations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
* Proficiency in barbering techniques is highly desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in store management is an advantage.
* Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining client satisfaction.
* Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is beneficial.

Pay: £16,921.78-£38,758.68 per year
Expected hours: 17 – 25 per week
