Job Purpose
Join the world’s largest International airline and take your engineering career to new highs. At Emirates, our Aircraft Technicians play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of the Emirates fleet — including the world’s largest A380 and Boeing 777 operations — as well as third‑party aircraft. As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll work as part of a professional maintenance team under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE). You’ll perform a range of maintenance tasks on aircraft and components, ensuring full compliance with approved procedures, regulatory standards, and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
 * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and approved structural repairs on aircraft, engines, and components in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory procedures.
 * Perform component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by the immediate supervisor or LAE.
 * Use and interpret approved documentation such as the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
 * Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in aircraft walk‑around checks, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and modification work.
 * Follow all safety procedures for aircraft refuelling, fluid replenishment, and system charging/servicing.
 * Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting potential hazards and ensuring work areas are clean, organized, and free of FOD.
 * Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in all work locations, including ramp, stands, vehicles, and toolboxes.
 * Comply with airport safety regulations, maintain a valid airside driving permit, and adhere to all airside manoeuvring requirements.
 * Ensure prompt attendance to allocated tasks to maximise aircraft ground time efficiency and minimise operational delays.
 * Communicate any defects or technical findings to the LAE clearly and ensure smooth shift handovers.
 * Support station material and stores audits to maintain Engineering Quality Compliance.
Qualification
 * Recognised aircraft maintenance qualification or apprenticeship.
 * Relevant experience within aircraft maintenance and repair. A380 experience in particular will catch our attention.
 * Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
 * Familiarity with aviation safety standards, documentation, and quality systems.
 * Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, precision and professionalism.
Things You Must Have To Be Considered
 * The unrestricted right to live and work in the UK; Emirates is not able to assist with sponsorships or visas.
 * A UK driving licence.
 * The ability to pass a five‑year history check including a criminal records check, in order to hold an airport pass.
