We are working with a leading provider of technical solutions to the film, television, and live production industry, who are looking to hire a Media Systems Technician to join their Technical Support & Installation team.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for installing and supporting non-linear editing systems, particularly Avid, across a range of high-profile productions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installing and de-rigging editing systems, particularly Avid
* Troubleshooting technical and operational issues for clients during hires
* Liaising with clients to ensure correct system specifications and workflows
* Preparing and managing equipment ahead of deployments
* Tracking assets and maintaining accurate records
Requirements:
* Experience with Avid equipment
* Strong communication and customer-facing skills
* Ability to work independently under pressure
* A proactive and hands-on approach
* Full driving licence and valid passport
Desirable:
* Understanding of broadcast technology
Location:
Primarily based near Heathrow, with occasional travel across the UK and mainland Europe.
