Job Description:
Active Care Group’s Care in the Home division continues to grow, providing safe, reliable, and outcome-based care to clients through our support workers, clinicians, and management team.
Are you a clinician tired of long shifts and seeking better work-life balance?
We are expanding our team and seeking an additional Clinical Manager for the Care in The Home division, where we employ Nurses as Clinical Managers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a division committed to supporting children, young people, and adults with conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions, including PEG feeding.
We seek an individual with strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring, to work with a team ensuring safe and secure living environments for those with complex needs.
Please note: We cannot sponsor candidates requiring a UK work visa.
Work schedule:
* Monday - Friday, including on-call duties for emergencies
* Home-based with regional travel (Chester, Llanfairfechan, Cyfflliog, Ruthin, Saughall, Flint, Liverpool, Preston)
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct competency-based training for clients with complex needs
* Delegate clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers
* Maintain and update Personal Care Plans
* Ensure clinical competencies are current and conduct annual observations
* Address safeguarding issues effectively
* Liaise with ICBs and Care Funders
* Monitor care risks and ensure documentation accuracy
* Visit clients to teach competencies and troubleshoot issues
* Support staff welfare and perform risk assessments
* Apply lateral thinking to complex care scenarios
Qualifications:
* Current NMC Pin registration (Dual Qualification RN/RSCN) or Adult Nurse with recent pediatric experience
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Full driving license and own vehicle
* Knowledge of vents, bowel and bladder management, tracheostomy, catheterization, epilepsy, blood glucose monitoring, NIVS, Nebs, PEG, challenging behavior, ADHD, and autism
