DIVISIONAL MANAGING DIRECTOR – FINANCIAL PLANNING

My client, a highly regarded and award-winning wealth management group, is looking for someone who can do exactly that.

The role:
* Take full executive responsibility for a large employed financial planning business - its strategy, its people, its performance and its culture
* Drive consistently high standards of advice quality across a sizeable, geographically dispersed adviser workforce
* Ensure the business is fully compliant with FCA requirements including Consumer Duty, and that governance and Training & Competency frameworks are robust and fit for purpose
* Collaborate closely with the wider senior leadership team to ensure your channel is well integrated into the group's broader distribution strategy
* Identify, develop and retain the next generation of leaders within your business, and create an environment where talented financial planners can do their best work for clients
What we're looking for:
* A proven executive leader with a background in regulated financial planning or wealth management
* Chartered Financial Planner status or equivalent - the technical grounding to command genuine respect from experienced advisers. Need to be DipFS as a minimum
* Experience of running or holding significant accountability for a large regulated advice business, with all the operational and regulatory complexity that entails
* Someone who leads with integrity, communicates with clarity and makes sound decisions under pressure
* A track record of building strong teams and developing people, not just managing them
