Job Description
* Source, negotiate, and purchase goods from both local and overseas vendors.
* Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
* Advise internal and external purchasing Terms & Conditions issues.
* Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
* Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.
* Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure on-time deliveries.
* Conduct regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Buyer' should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in business, economics, procurement, or a related field.
* Have previous category experience in any of FM, utilities and operations.
* Proven experience in a similar procurement role within the entertainment industry
* Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor management.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in relevant procurement software.
