On offer is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Manual Grinder or similar, including candidates from a CNC milling, turning or grinding background with some manual grinding experience, to join a precision engineering company with a strong pipeline of work secured for the next five years. In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve and develop your skills in setting up machinery, operating manual grinding equipment, interpreting technical drawings, carrying out precision measurements, and working to extremely tight tolerances. You will also benefit from in-house training, upskilling opportunities, a clear progression pathway, and access to overtime.
This role would suit someone with some experience within Manual Grinding or a similar role, or a CNC machinist (milling, turning or grinding) with some exposure to manual grinding, who is looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established and growing precision engineering company.
The Role:
Interpret technical drawings
Carry out precision measurements
Grind materials to very tight tolerances
Set up and operate manual grinding machinery
7am till 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till 12pm Friday
Overtime up to 1.5x
The Person:
Some experience with a Manual Grinder or similar, or a CNC machining background with some manual grinding exposure
Based locally to Atherstone or surrounding areas
