What you’ll be doing
* Drive branch success by smashing sales targets, boosting profit, and ensuring the team delivers first-class service with safety at the heart of everything.
* Lead a dynamic team of 13 colleagues, champion a sales and safety culture, and help the team achieve sales excellence and operational consistency.
* Ensure the team is trained, motivated, and ready to excel while building strong customer relationships, focusing on a customer-first culture.
* Be part of an established team that balances growth plans with an active, buoyant market.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm. NO WEEKENDS.
What you’ll be responsible for
* Driving Business Growth: Develop and execute a plan to exceed targets, build relationships with customers and suppliers to maximise sales, profitability, and stock turnover.
* Leading Safety & People Development: Foster a Stay Safe culture, ensure safety standards are maintained, recruit, train, and coach your team with clear progression opportunities.
* Optimising Branch Operations: Manage stock control, maintain a professional, safe work environment, and ensure resources meet operational needs.
* Compliance & Financial Management: Adhere to company regulations and policies, manage debt with central credit control, and conduct stock takes per guidelines.
* Leadership & Collaboration: Lead by example, inspire your team, and collaborate with peers and central functions to deliver AOP; share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
* Customer Service Excellence: Instill a customer-first mindset in the team to deliver outstanding service at all times.
Who you are
* Proven leader with at least two years of leadership experience in the merchant industry
* Commercially focused with a drive for operational excellence

* Accountable with a strong work ethic, balancing collaboration with ownership
