About The Role
Your role as QA Supervisor is to ensure the safety, legality & quality of all products sold by the company.
You will manage product specifications, implement and review HACCP, arrange product testing and analyse results, log and investigate customer complaints, completion of technical paperwork, provide information to customers as requested plus prepare for and assist with third-party audits and maintain required standards.
Shifts: Shift pattern and working hours will be discussed in interview.
Responsibilities & Requirements
1. Implement into all factory areas the standards by which the Company operates and seek to raise them continuously (includes production, goods in, engineering, process…)
2. Training of staff against the systems and procedures in place
3. Attending trials to create product standards in conjunction with NPD and Production Dept.
4. Investigation of Factory non-conformances
5. Investigation of customer complaints and implementation of corrective and preventative actions based on trending and analysis of data
6. Working with production to validate all processes and procedures
7. Document control
8. Supplier Approval + NCR
9. Managing the technical indicators
10. Carrying out internal and hygiene audits in conjunction with the appropriate departmental managers to verify that the factory is complying to all customer codes of practice and BRC standards
11. Responsibility for pest control across the whole site
12. Reviewing internal Work Instructions and practices vs. customer codes of practice / BRC requirements to implement and train any required changes
13. Raising NCR’S-helping to investigate when needed and closing them off
14. Root cause team & data analysis
15. GMP trending
Experience Required:
16. Experience of working within food industry
17. knowledge of customer codes or practice and BRC requirements
18. Experience of Quality Management Systems
19. Degree educated or equivalent in Food Technology (ideal but not essential)
20. HACCP trained
21. Great communication skills
