They specialise in the service of electronics and technical products. This division specialises in commercial laundry & ware washing equipment. They are ambitious, growing and are a great employer for trainee or experienced Dishwasher Technicians/Engineers who are open to a new challenge.
The Field Service Engineer/Commercial Laundry Engineer job where you will undertake, service, maintenance and repair to commercial washing machines & tumble driers and laundry equipment at commercial customer premises such as care homes. You will be field based in Northern region, primarily in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester triangle.
More specifically, the work includes warranty checks, fault-finding, troubleshooting, repair and modification to multi-brand commercial laundry equipment including Primus, Girbau, Danube, Speed Queen, Miele & Electrolux. Ongoing training is provided, and you will be cross-trained to an expert level in additional manufacturers and product types!
The role also requires scheduling, customer care, manual handling, H&S compliance, and some paperwork/PDA.
All the tools of the trade, including a new company van (with AC) & fuel card for private mileage, are provided.
To be successful as Field Service Engineer/Commercial Laundry Engineer, you will have appliance service/repair experience including white goods plus a healthy mix of the following:
Manufacturer training/certification an advantage
Multi-brand experience preferred e.g. Good track record in maintenance/installation servicing or repairs
F/Gas or Gas Safe registration an advantage.
Basic computer literacy for PDA
Full driving license, and reasonable flexibility for travel/hours
As a Field Service Engineer/Commercial Laundry Engineer, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £30K-£40K depending on Domestic vs Commercial qualifications/experience
• Monday to Friday work (no on-call)
• Overtime rates paid at your flat rate during the week: 5 Saturdays & x2 Sundays
• Optional weekend work, Saturdays paid at x1.5 and Sundays x2
• Holiday days: 20 days + 8 bank holidays
