The Marketing Officer will play a key role in promoting Hanford Prep, working closely with the Sherborne Girls Marketing Manager to support all aspects of marketing and communications.
This dynamic role involves creating and coordinating marketing materials for UK and overseas admissions events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines. The role includes digital and print marketing support, social media management, website content updates, campaign reporting, and event support. The post-holder will also assist with photo and video shoots, internal communications such as weekly bulletins, and administrative tasks including budget tracking, correspondence, and competitor research.This is a varied and hands-on role requiring excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, creativity, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and enthusiastic about marketing within the education sector, contributing positively to the success of both Hanford Prep and the wider Sherborne Schools Group.
Core Responsibilities: Marketing Admissions
* Liaise with the SG Marketing Manager and HP Admissions Manager to coordinate marketing material to support admissions events for Hanford Prep.
* Manage material for UK and overseas Admissions events, working closely with the wider SSG Admissions and Marketing teams to coordinate activity.
* Assist with additional marketing material requirements to support exhibitions, fairs and events including banner stands, flyers, QR codes.
* Assist with merchandise branding and purchasing for giveaways at exhibitions events.
* Work with the Marketing Manager to report on campaign analytics (attendance records, conversion rates) to maximise effectiveness of events/shape future engagement strategy.
* Ensure all communication aligns with brand guidelines.
* Support print and digital marketing material (content collation/design/ production) to support school events and initiatives including invitations, posters, booklets, banners, website, social media posts.
* Support the collation and upload of content for online marketing requirements, including the website, social media and direct mailings using CMS tools.
* Manage the collation and upload of content, and publication, of weekly Bulletins to current and prospective parents using a CMS tool.
* Support the collation of content for offline (print) marketing requirements, including the prospectus, editorial/advertorial and blog articles.
* Support the collation of content for the School's award submissions.
* Support the Marketing Manager on reporting and analytics for the School's key marketing/communication channels including website, social media and Bulletin.
* Support the Marketing Manager with organising photo and film shoot schedules working with external photographers/videographers as required.
* Help maintain the School's image and video galleries, tagging, uploading and sharing photos and video.
