We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Multi drop delivery of products to customers premises, delivering bulk loads, picked directly from vehicle for delivery to customer (covering: Reading, Luton and London areas)
* 2 person driving team - 2nd driver/drivers mate will be allocated
* You will be required to work 2x weekends in December as this is their busiest time of year
* Some of the deliveries will be in Central London
* Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
* Count and check all products, compare to manifest and complete a visual check for any anomalies and damages
* Working in a physically demanding environment in a safe manner
* Manual handling will be required for this role
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
* You must have 6 months HGV driving experience
