Project Quantity Surveyor

Permanent Position
The contractor, a Tier 2 Main Contractor specialising in complex cut & carve refurbishment projects across London, is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a technically challenging hospitality refurbishment project near Bank, City of London.
Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial lifecycle of the project from procurement to final account.
* Procure and negotiate subcontract packages.
* Prepare and manage cost reports and forecasts.
* Manage interim valuations and client applications.
* Administer variations and change control procedures.
* Commercially manage subcontractors, including payments and final accounts.
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
* Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure financial and operational performance.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.
Requirements
* 4-8 years' experience working with a main contractor.
* Proven experience operating at Project Quantity Surveyor level.
* Strong experience delivering refurbishment, cut & carve, or structural alteration projects.
* Hospitality, commercial, or similar sector experience.
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills.
* Experience working on projects within Central London is desirable.
