Position Available: Manufacturing Build Technician
Location: Bedfordshire (onsite)
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Benefits
Experience needed: A completed Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship with hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical manufacturing, repair, or modification within a complex engineering or high-technology environment.
About the role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Build Technician to join our manufacturing team, where you'll be responsible for building, modifying, and repairing products to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You'll work across a variety of tasks, using specialist equipment, tools, and measuring instruments, while ensuring strict adherence to build procedures and certification processes. Collaboration is key as you'll be part of a highly skilled team, sharing best practices and ensuring the highest levels of workmanship are maintained at all times.
This role would suit candidates from industries such as aerospace, automotive, robotics, electronics manufacturing, or other advanced engineering environments.
What we need from you:
* This role requires a formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3
* Hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience with strong attention to detail and quality
* Confidence using a wide range of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments
* Ability to follow certification procedures and maintain product compliance
* Strong team player with good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
