At Saint-Gobain Exterior Solutions, we're looking for a Technical Services Advisor to join our Technical team, supporting customers and colleagues with high-quality, compliant technical and design solutions across our portfolio of products and systems.This role plays a key part in ensuring projects progress efficiently and in line with current legislation, building regulations and best practice. You'll provide accurate technical advice, produce technical documentation, and act as a trusted technical point of contact for customers, specifiers and internal stakeholders.This is a full-time permanent role based in either our Telford, or Flitwick offices.What we're looking for:Qualification in a building, architectural or engineering-related disciplineAbility to read and interpret architectural and construction drawingsExperience using AutoDesk software to produce CAD drawingsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelUnderstanding of building regulations and general construction practiceExcellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlinesA customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering quality technical support What you will be doing:Provide accurate, compliant technical and design support to customers and internal teamsProduce technical documentation including specifications, quotations, drawings and thermal calculationsSupport Area Sales Managers and the wider commercial team with technical input on projectsEnsure all advice and documentation aligns with current legislation, standards and company policiesManage and prioritise technical enquiries to meet agreed service levelsBuild strong working relationships with customers, specifiers and internal stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement through technical insight and feedback Are Saint-Gobain Exterior Solutions inclusive employers?Saint-Gobain is a worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction, following our purpose of 'Making the World a Better Home'.
