ROLE SUMMARY:
As the Senior Data Scientist you are responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and building out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity. collaborate with data and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organisation.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Problem Solving - Defining a problem, generating solutions, and evaluating and identifying the best solution to overcome the problem
* Artificial intelligence ethics - Demonstrating knowledge and application of moral principles, guidelines and techniques to inform the development and responsible use of artificial intelligence technology
* Data analysis - Collecting, analysing and interpreting data to reach conclusions and/or present insights and findings
* Data wrangling - Cleaning, manipulating, and transforming data from one form into another format that is more useful and valuable
* Statistics - Applying the right statistical methods or formulas to solve problems or analyse a situation
* Statistical Algorithms - Understanding and using algorithms to gather insights from data
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
* 6 years of technical experience.
* Demonstrable experience on data migration using ETL tools.
* Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
* Expert level skill on Informatica IICS or Matillion or equivalent ETL tool which covers from extracting the source to building the complex mappings.
* Proficient level coding knowledge on Python and SQL.
* Proficient in the use or extract of data from Salesforce.
* Knowledge of the Object-Oriented Design and Data modelling is desirable.
* Understanding of Salesforce concepts is desirable.
* Experience with providing technical solutions and supporting documentation.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written.
Preferred Skills And Experience
* Snowflake Storage and Database.
* Cloud Native based applications using AWS/Azure
* Understanding of the SDLC and agile delivery methodology.
* Experience with JIRA and Confluence
