Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting culinary staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
* Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
* Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
* Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with organisational duties such as restocking supplies
* Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift
* Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
* Assisting with general cleaning duties in dining areas and back-of-house spaces as required
* Supporting serving staff during busy periods by providing necessary kitchen support
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
* Familiarity with food preparation and cooking processes is advantageous
* Experience working in a busy hospitality setting demonstrates ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Knowledge of health and safety standards within a kitchen environment is beneficial but not mandatory
* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good organisational skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: £12.21-£18.30 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
